The Linear Squared director board is comprised of seasoned entrepreneurs and industry experts, bringing years of experience to a Linear Squared.
Rajan Anandan is an active investor in early stage technology companies in India and US. Rajan brings a deep understanding of technology, a track record of investing in many sectors across technology, first hand experience working closely with founding teams of startups and leading and growing several large technology businesses in US and India.
Rajan is currently a Vice President of Google, Inc. In his current role Rajan is the Managing Director of Google India and is responsible for Google’s operations in India. Prior to Google, Rajan held leadership roles with Microsoft, Dell and was also a Partner with McKinsey&Co.
Prajeeth is serial entrepreneur and an active investor in early stage companies in Sri Lanka. He is the founder of Lankan Angel Network (LAN) which is Sri Lanka’s First Alliance of Angel Investors. He has been instrumental in creating the start up ecosystem in Sri Lanka including launching the Venture Engine program in Sri Lanka.
Prajeeth engages deeply with investee companies in all areas of company building including forging international partnerships, building teams, sales and marketing and follow-on fund raising.
Prior to his entrepreneurial experience in Sri Lanka, Prajeeth spent many years leading established businesses in UK, Japan and Australia. He has worked for reknowned global corporations such as Federal Mogul and United Technologies Corp.
Sankha Muthu Poruthotage Ph.D.
Director / CEO
Sankha is one of the co-founders of Linear Squared. He holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Connecticut, USA. He has worked at Plymouth Rock assurance in Boston MA in the area of advance risk modeling.
Sankha specializes in classification techniques using both parametric models and machine learning algorithms, regression and GLM models, clustering and segmentation techniques, survival models, change point detection and sequential techniques.
Sankha has spearheaded some of the very first largescale analytics initiatives in Sri Lanka, specifically in telecommunication, FMCG, apparel and finance sectors.
In the early stages of his career, Sankha was in quantitative investment research as an Associate Vice President at AMBA Research Lanka (now Moody’s Analytics Knowledge Services), and a Market Research Manager at Nielsen.
